Love this idea. Replace your incandescent bulb with a CFL and then convert that bulb into a terrarium.
Incandescent light bulbs will be collectors items soon, no matter what Michele Bachmann thinks. Instead of just throwing the old ones out, perhaps something creative can be done with them. I created one - doesn't look as great as the picture above. It was an easy process to open the bulb and clean it out. Packed some moss and small stones in, propped it up on a copper wire stand... Now if the moss grows - I may make some more.
