Have been making and drinking both milk and water kefir. The milk kefir is fantastic - so easy and quick to make. Blended with a banana and a few blueberries is the ultimate dessert.
The water kefir has been made with a fig. Very nice taste as well though I am ready to throw a dried apricot in for a different taste.
Great tasting products, good for me (full of probiotics) and cheaper than buying the products at Whole Foods.

Hmmm, interesting. I was wondering about the taste. Probiotics are so great...our family loves the VIdazorb chewable probiotics. They helped our son with his severe food allergies and Eczema and he is just so much better now. It has been amazing and now we take them every day for all the added benefits! Thanks for sharing about the Kefir!
Milk kefir tastes absolutely great as a smoothie. Going to try a vanilla and peach smoothie this afternoon.
